g51 surround sound speaker system
will these speakers work with my laptop?
I really want an amazing speaker system for my laptop because i dont take it alot of places it just sits in a room like a desktop and i have a compaq presario laptop and i want the G51 surround sound logitech speaker system but will it work with my laptop?
Nope, not unless your laptop has 5.1 speaker outputs (normally 3 small headphone-type connectors of different colours). You’re either stuck with 2.1, or you could try looking for a 5.1 USB speaker system (if such a thing exists). Alternatively, you could get a USB sound card that has surround sound (and I believe Creative make these).
