DJ lighting installation …?
I'm thinking of buying two lights for a concert I have coming DJ. Everything so far has been kept apart illumination. In both cases, in the absence of a DMX controller, it looks like you have two choices: 1) A "sound activated" so that the speed and intensity lighting assets is influenced by the volume and rhythm of music. This can work quite well, just that sometimes is a bit 'much for a slow dance, and lights also tend to respond to ads. 2) A "preset" or "auto" mode in which light does his thing irrespective of the sound. The "Scorpion" allows you to set what this is like using dip switches. Both units are pretty good, but you probably want a controller when permission budget. Good luck!
